🐟 Tuna oat patties
Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna, drained (150 to 170 g each)
- 90 g rolled oats
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 large onion, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- 2 to 3 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Drain the tuna well and put it in a bowl with the grated onion, garlic and parsley.
- Blitz the oats 1 to 2 min into a coarse flour, and add it.
- Season with salt, pepper and chili, then add the beaten eggs and mix.
- LET IT REST 5 to 10 min: that is the time the oats need to take up the moisture and bind the patties.
- With damp hands, form 10 patties.
- In a pan: 3 to 4 min per side in olive oil over medium heat, until golden and crisp.
- In the oven: 190 °C (375 °F) on parchment, 15 to 18 min, turning halfway.
