Ingredients

• 22 ml mezcal
• 22 ml yellow Chartreuse
• 22 ml Aperol
• 22 ml fresh lime juice

Method

1. This is the smoky cousin of the Last Word and the Paper Plane: four equal parts once more.
2. Pick a properly smoky mezcal — it carries the whole drink.
3. Pour the four ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake for 12 seconds.
4. Strain into a chilled coupe.
5. Serve as is, no ice and no garnish.
